My Kenya Experience :D

Sooo finally mi tin algo exciting pa skibi atrobe! It’s been the same old the last couple of weeks, dus vandaar jun post nobo. E siman ki tawata mega exciting!! It was finally hereeee!! Exams!!! Loke ma traha asina duro pe, prepara mi muchanan asina hopi, drill e alfabet den nan cabes, conta y skibi 1-20, kleur etc etc. They were finally going to be tested on and see if I did a good job, paso dimes con nan preform ta reflect na con bon of malo ma hasi mi trabou he! I’m happy to say cu mi ta mega proud di mi munchkins, nan a preform superrrrrrrrr!!!! :D Jammer cu otro anja mino tei y nan ta bai bek to just being a number in a big class, but for what it’s worth, this term they were superstars! Diabierna despues di lunchbreak, tawata tin un klas so cu mester a traha nan examen ainda y e resto ami mester a wak ki mi ta hasi cu nan, well say no more, I think these kids deserve a little playtimeeee!!! So ma saca un baki cu jen blokjes cu nan tin, ma parti mi klas, super creatief, pone mi muchanan un banda, separa nan cu e mucha grandinan cu stoel :P Paso si mi laga tur den un klas nan ta bai kita blokjes di mi muchanan, dusss ma hasi slim! So ma parti nan y ma dunan tur mucha un paar di blokjes pa nan hunga and then I witnessed something pretttttyyy amazing! I saw the kids in them!!! Nan a full bira normall kids again :D Nan tawata hunga cu e blokjes nan, un paar tawata traha mane torens, otro tawata traha caminda etc etc. Amazingly nan no tawata bringa y nan tawata asta share cu otro! Paso un paar di e muchanan di e klas a bin fe school y nan tambe a bin join, pero ami no tawata tin mas blokjes, paso ma parti tur, anto e mucha grandinan a gewoon share cu nan! My heart smiled!! Pero dimes nan mester tawata keto paso den e otro klas nan tawata hasi examen yyy for those of you who wonder dikon mino a hasi esaki prome, well ta paso nan no mag di hunga, nan tin cu sinja, y semper tin hende ta controla, pero awo nan tawata cla cu examen yyyy e otro juffrouw tawata bezig cu e otro klas, dus mi tawata mi so cu nan! Nan tin mega hopi pressure si pa perform well, paso ja e no ta accepted pa tin lage cijfers! Dus mi ta hoping cu tur e bijles cu mi ta duna nan ta help y nan perform super! Apart di esey ma hanja un new roommate cu for a change I likeeeeeee, un pushiiii :D Mega cute, un pushi chikito. Awo nami conta algo funny over di pushi kinan. Pushi ta mane un wildebeest, hende tin miedo di pushi y e no ta echt un bestia di cas y mi ta compronde paso e pushinan kinan ta mane di caya, dus no echt vriendelijk tampoco, pero pa wak con nan ta reageer ora un pushi jega serca ta basta unique! Pero e ta un pushi chikito, baby ainda cu for some reason ta keda na e cas ki, so ma cuminsa dune lechi y e ta drumi den mi cas, den un kamber apart. Poco Poco nan tin menos miedo di dje, pero ora mino tei nan ta hasi jen cos pa e pushi bai, mane poke e cu un stick! Cansamiii, pero mi ta determined pa sinja nan con pa trata un pushi! Weekend Taekwondo Tournament & Beach!
Diasabra tawata tin un taekwondo tournament cual ma bai cu e muchanan y 2 di e muchanan a participa. Un di nan tawata tin school, dus mi mester a skibi un carta pa pidi permiso pa e no bai school, anto nan a bisa e mucha cu mi tin cu bai personal paso e handschrift ta parse di e mucha mes, dus nan no ta kere e carta! Sooo atami tin cu cana bai e mucha su school pa pidi permiso personal y bisa nan dibiaha cu ta mi handschrift, pa no tin misunderstandings mas in the future (my way of saying pa boso no ponemi cana bin te kinan pornada!). Anyways dat was geregeld y nos a bai e tournament, cu tawata suppose di cuminsa 10or, nos a jega eynan mane 11or y ainda en cuminsa, uiteindelijk bandi 12.30 ela cuminsa y nos a spreek af cu nos ta bai cas bek 1.30 pa come, pero paso cu 2 mucha tawata den e tournament nos no por a bai, uiteindelijk nos a bai cas ora e cos a caba, cu tawata mane 5or (nos a tuma un kleine detour pa pasa cumpra ijscream :P). E 2 muchanan, 2 mucha muhe di 11 y 13 anja a participa y esun di 11 anja a gana oro den su categoria y esun di 13 anja a gana bronze den su categoria!!! Ami tawata megaaaa proud di nan!!! Durante e fight, esun di 13 anja a hanja 2 skop na su cabes, anto ora esey pasa nan ta conta te 10 pa wak si bo ta bon, ay ay ay mi curazonnnnn a stop!!!! Y nan ta forsa sigui no! Na final su pia twt injured y e tawata tin un lichte hersenschudding y e otro twt injured na su man (2 siman despues nos a bin hanja sa cu su neck tambe tawata injoured, after a whole day di bai di un hospital pa e otro pa hanja sa ki pasa su neck y check si e ta kibra, nos a hanja sa cu ta djis e spiernan ta e problema y su neck no tawata kibra, pero e mester bisti e coi neck si pa support su cabes te ora e spiernan drecha). Y asina tawata tin jen otro injuries!!! Y btw jun ambulance of un medische post pa wak e injuries nan, djis un "sorry" nan ta hanja! Tawata tin un cu a kibra su man! Nou ja, zo gaat het dus! E club di taekwondo cu e muchanan ta aden a sali na di 2 luga out of e 7 club nan cu a participa. Diadumingo nos a bai misa y despues tur mester a cabi laba nan panja y tin tur cos pa school cla, come lunch y laba tur cos despues nos a bai beach. E biaha ki mi so a bai cu nan, dus jun otro adulto y e mucha homber mas grandi, e tin 17 anja, tampoco no a bai mee. Mi a wak full un otro side di e muchanan ki cu a djis make my heart smile! Nan tawata asinaaaa happy no, echt asinaaa happy y asina free!!! Nos a cana riba beach, nan a landa, turrr a landa! Tawata un cu a especially make me happy, e ta un mucha muher di 14 anja, e ta esun di mas grandi, dus e tin hopi responsibilities, anto hopi biaha e ta serio, keto y djis hasi loke nan bise. Anto e dia ki e tawata asina happy paso e no tawata tin jun responsibilities, ami a wak pa esun chikito, dus e por a gewoon bai landa freely y ayyy ma wake hari pa prome biaha asina hopi! She was a kid again! If only mi por a filme! So mi tawata superrrr happy, mino por a stop di wake, e tawata djis make me happy!

Taekwondo Grading
So finally e dia a jega cu e muchanan lo pasa nan examen pa nan faha geel y blauw den taekwondo! Tur e muchanan tawata super excited y no tawata nervioso at all! E tawata suppose di cuminsa 3or, pero mane nan ta bisa kinan, Keniaanse tijd! Ela cuminsa 4or di atardi! So henter e dia ta train y ta warda e hendenan cu ta judgenan jega. Ora nos a caba nos a bai cas y come un celebration dinner cu jama "pilau". E ta parse carni stoba un tiki. Y tur hende a come y celebra cu e muchanan a haal nan faha! Tawata tin 2 mucha cu a pasa faha blauw y esey ta super hard, like no ni kere paso nan ta teenagers of algo nan ta menos hard on them! Mega hard e tawata, pero nan a haal, dus mega proud! All in all everyone was happy :D

A week of non-stop raining!
So nos tawata tin un siman di djis non-stop raining! Awa ta basha henter dia y henter anochi! Consecuencianan di esey tawata ta, muchanan no ta bin school of ta bin school super laat, awa y coriente a bai y tur e camindanan jena cu awa, dus moeilijk pa cana y cu tuk tuk! Pero door cu e mester attencion asina, ora mi ta bezig cu full e klas e ta hasi mala mucha tin biaha, so mi ta bise bai na madam (cu mi serious face) y e ta bisa mino kier y sinta bon mucha bek! Awel awe ela hasi algo nobo, ma bise bai na madam e di nooo, mino kier, hisa su 2 man nan na laira y bisa noo nooo, mino kierrr hahahaha ayyy mi mester a bira pa e no wak mi hari, paso mino por a wanta, e twt dimas di hilarious, ayyy e cutie! I can only hope! So manjan tin un taekwondo tournament cu mi ta bai cu e muchanan y diasabra ta beach! Officially mi tin diasabra y diadumingo liber, peroooo 1. e muchanan no por hasi nada pafo di e cas sin mi y 2. nan no ta compronde cu mi tin liber of cu mi kier hasi algo pa mi mes, soooo mi ta djis plan dagjes uit cu nan den weekend! Ohhh PS ma lubida di mention, pero door cu mi ta juda nan cu nan huiswerk y 99% di e cosnan mi sa, nan ta bin puntrami pa juda nan cu tur cos cu nan pega cu ne, hahaha awo asta e mucha chikitonan a cuminsa bin cu nan huiswerk serca mi, esunan den 1ste klas. Awo ayera un a bin cu huiswerk di e vak swahili! Umm say what?? Soooo, here I am 2 weeks later y mi guerra cu e raton no a caba ainda!! E bestia ey ta torturamiiii!!! E ta drenta mi kamber bou di e porta y e ta keda piep anochi yyy e ta come mi panjanan, dus awo mi tin paar di shirts cu buraco grrr nada cu mi por hasi mino por get rid di dje, y ultimo biaha ma bai banjo anochi OMG e bestia twt den banjo nos tur dos a keda bula ta cu ami a core bai bek den mi kamber y desde e dia ey mi ta dune warning ora mi bin un caminda, dus mi ta bati e porta prome mi drenta mi kamber of banjo pa e sa di sconde :PMino twt tin internet, vandaar no more updates, pero mi tei bek! So e 2 simannan cu a pasa tawata hopi leuk! Mi tin ful un ritmo awo y casi tur dia ta mesun cos. Mi trabou ta cuminsa oficial 8or di mainta y e ta caba te ora mi cabi juda e mucha grandinan cu nan huiswerk cu ta rond 10.30 pa 11or di anochi! Mi ta love love y love it! So ami ta hasiendo mi best pa sinja nan y nan ta really smart, dus nan ta sinja basta bn, pero ami no ta half as streng as e otro juffrouw!!! OMG mi curazon ta kibra ora nan bisami cu nan ta cansa! Pero ja bisa nan cu nan tin cu sigui sinja! BTW e muchanan ki obviously no ta papia ingles ainda, awo nan ta sinjando, dus ami ta papia swahili cu nan (yesss swahili :P). Weekend ki ma pasa na Kilifi, diabierna ma bai, ma bisanan mi ta bin diasdabra bek, pero ma bin bek diadumingo y ay e pober muchanan, ora ma jega core bin brasami dunami sunchi, y dikon ba bin te awe??? Anto net tin hende a cabi bin cu pisca, so ma cumpra pisca pami y e kidsnan, minsa si ma mention caba, pero jun dia e muchanan a come carni! So e muchanan ki ta mane vegetarian paso no tin placa pa cumpra carni! Soooo, ma cumpra pisca, cu nan a bula den aire di excitement no ta un joke, nan a echt hasie!!! Y ami twt mega happy tmb, paso fresh fishhhh, que delicia! Ma cumpra, juice, pan, chips y lolipop pa na beach mes, twt fulll un treat!!! Cos cu ta normal na Aruba, ta gewoon out of this world pa e muchanan ki! In ieder geval nan a enjoy nan voorlaatste dag di vakantie :D Grrr y awe ma hanja sa cu e hunjanan cu ma pinta ayera mi mester kita nan paso school ta cuminsa dialuna y nan no mag bai asina school! So ban kita nan atrobe! Y OMG awe ma wak pa prome biaha hende di tribessss :D:D:D:D OMG mi twt megaaa exciteddd!!! Diadumingo ma lanta trempan pa bai misa, e misa ta e lugar di mas bunita cu ma wak kinan! Full verzorgd y netjes, den mesun cura di misa tin e cas di e zusternan y e pastoornan. Echt super bunita. Merdia ma bai lunch na Watamu cu e 2 otro volunteernan y Cocky (mi contactpersoon kinan di e organization) y twt mega leukkkk!! Ma ripara cu once in a while e ta bon pa sali di kinan y tin un break di e muchanan en alles, e twt echt super leuk, dus def will be a second time!
